It's the moment we've all been waiting for (or some, dreading). Year 10 injection season. The injections are very important as they serve as a booster against diptheria, tetanus and polio, after your initial vaccination when you were about 4 years old.

Everyone we spoke to after the injections were considerably relieved. Josh Haworth said "they weren't as bad as I thought they'd be".

Alder Grange are TV stars! A few weeks ago, camera crews and presenters from ITV1 breakfast show Daybreak visited Alder Grange to film students being weighed, with and without their school bags.

It comes after the school invested in new seating to support the students' backs. Mr Hulland says "We can't underestimate the importance of looking after our students' backs."

The safety limit for a school bag is 10% of a person's body weight, with 15% marked as the very highest.

Daybreak were extremely pleased with the quality of the footage they shot. Thank you!
